KHAN SIR ANNOUNCES ORPHANAGE FOR UNDERPRIVILEGED CHILDREN ON RAKSHA BANDHAN

PATNA | AUGUST 29, 2026

Popular educator Khan Sir has announced plans to establish an orphanage dedicated to underprivileged children, expanding his social welfare initiatives beyond education into child welfare and healthcare.

The announcement was made at 12:01 PM on Raksha Bandhan, during a public address marking the festival. Connecting the initiative with the emotional significance of Raksha Bandhan, Khan Sir said that while he feels the absence of a sister, many children experience the absence of a guardian or family support.

According to his announcement, the proposed facility will provide children without adequate family support with shelter, education and medical care, while also aiming to create employment opportunities for them within his own organisation as they grow older.

The stated objective is to provide these children with a safe and stable environment where they can receive education, healthcare and the opportunity to build independent futures.

CANCER HOSPITAL PROJECT ALSO ON TRACK

Khan Sir also provided an update on the cancer hospital project he announced during the previous Raksha Bandhan.

He said construction had faced a delay of approximately two months because of disruptions, but the project is now progressing and is expected to be completed within the next two to three months.

The twin initiatives reflect a broader approach to social welfare—combining education, healthcare, shelter and eventual employment support.

The announcement has attracted considerable attention on social media, with supporters praising the initiative and its potential impact on vulnerable children.
