Delhi Fashion Week 2026 Set to Bring Designers, Models and Indian Craft to the Spotlight
NEW DELHI, August 27, 2026: The capital is set to witness a major fashion showcase on Thursday as Delhi Fashion Week 2026 takes centre stage at Bharat Mandapam, ITPO, New Delhi. The event is being organised by Delhi Fashion Club in association with Film Expo India and Satyam Fashion Institute.
The showcase forms part of Film Expo India 2026, which is being held from August 26 to 30. Delhi Fashion Week is scheduled for the expo’s second day, August 27. The event also marks the Delhi Fashion Club’s 10th year of promoting designers, models, Indian handlooms, textiles and emerging creative talent.
The fashion programme is expected to bring together established and emerging names from the modelling and design community, with an emphasis on fashion, culture, craftsmanship and contemporary Indian creativity. Earlier auditions in Noida shortlisted 16 models, while further selections have been planned to expand participation in the showcase.
Another fashion-related event underway in New Delhi is Ananta Kriti, a three-day handcrafted-fashion and textile exhibition running from August 26 to 28 at Aga Khan Hall. The showcase features handloom sarees, womenswear, children’s clothing, Indo-Western designs, jewellery and accessories, with fabrics including ikat, kalamkari, cotton-silk and hand-block prints.
Meanwhile, BeautySum India 2026 begins on August 27 at Yashobhoomi, New Delhi, bringing together the beauty, fashion and personal-care sectors under the theme “Beyond the Beauty: Where Innovation Meets Diversity.”
For fashion audiences, August 27 therefore promises a strong mix of runway presentation, Indian textile traditions, emerging talent and beauty-industry innovation.
