CTET 2026 Application Window Reopens; Candidates Get Another Chance to Apply
The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has reopened the application window for the Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) 2026, giving aspiring teachers another opportunity to submit their applications for the upcoming examination.
The reopening of the application portal is expected to provide relief to candidates who could not complete their registration within the earlier deadline. Applicants can now access the official CTET website and complete the registration process by providing the required personal, academic and other details.
Candidates are advised to carefully review the eligibility criteria and ensure that all information entered in the application form is accurate before submitting it. Applicants should also keep scanned copies of the necessary documents and a recent photograph and signature ready, wherever required.
The CTET is a key eligibility examination for candidates seeking teaching positions in schools affiliated with the Central Government and several other institutions. The examination is conducted for two levels — Paper I for candidates aspiring to teach Classes I to V and Paper II for those seeking to teach Classes VI to VIII.
With the application window reopening, candidates are advised not to wait until the final day to complete the registration process. They should regularly check the official CTET website for updates regarding examination dates, admit cards, city intimation slips and other important announcements.
