Bigg Boss Bangla 3 Is Here! Sourav Ganguly’s Grand Debut, Star-Studded House & Drama Begins
NEWS DESK | KOLKATA
The much-awaited Bigg Boss Bangla Season 3 is finally here, and the show has already delivered plenty of drama. After nearly a decade, the Bengali version of the popular reality show has returned, with former India cricket captain Sourav Ganguly taking over as host.
The grand premiere featured a star-studded lineup, but entrepreneur Tanushree Roy Das quickly grabbed attention. The Jalpaiguri-born contestant had a fun moment with Ganguly on stage and even pinched him in front of everyone, creating a buzz across social media.
Tanushree has also made it clear that she is outspoken and will not tolerate injustice inside the Bigg Boss house. That statement has already raised expectations about her role in the season.
The 15-member lineup includes popular names such as Monami Ghosh, Bharat Kaul, Durnibar Saha, Sohini Paul, Nandini Roy, Dipendu Biswas, Srijla Guha, Sonamoni Saha and Anindya Sengupta, along with influencers and other public figures. British actor Alexandra Taylor is also part of the house.
And the drama began almost immediately.
The first captaincy task saw Bharat Kaul, Sonamoni Saha, Srijla Guha, Monami Ghosh, Sayak Chakraborty, Nandini Dutta and Tanushree Roy Das competing for the coveted position.
Tensions rose during the voting process. Monami questioned Bharat Kaul for interrupting while Nandini was speaking. After heated exchanges and shifting equations, the contestants finally voted—and veteran actor Bharat Kaul emerged as the first captain of the Bigg Boss Bangla house.
With the captain now holding special powers, the real power game is just beginning.
Will Bharat’s leadership bring stability to the house—or trigger even bigger clashes?
Bigg Boss Bangla has only just begun, and the drama is already heating up.
