📊 TOMORROW’S MARKET OUTLOOK — 31 AUGUST 2026

NIFTY 50 • BANK NIFTY • GOLD • SILVER

Important: This is a market-analysis/trading framework, not a guaranteed call. Options can lose 100% of the premium very quickly. The levels below should be treated as conditional trades, not certainty.

🇮🇳 NIFTY 50 — BIAS: CAUTIOUS / RANGE-BOUND

Nifty closed Friday at 24,175.65, gaining 0.35%, but the index still recorded its third consecutive weekly decline. Global uncertainty, FII selling and concerns around the new closing-auction mechanism remain important risk factors.

The 1 September option chain shows a call-heavy setup, with significant positioning around 24,200–24,500, while 24,000 is an important downside zone.

Key levels for Monday:

🟢 Support: 24,150 → 24,000

🔴 Resistance: 24,300 → 24,425/24,500

Above 24,300: bullish momentum can strengthen.

Below 24,100: downside towards 24,000 → 23,900 becomes possible.

🎯 NIFTY OPTION PLAN

Preferred trade: BUY NIFTY 24,200 CE only above 24,300 spot, preferably after a sustained 15-minute breakout.

Alternative bearish trade:
If Nifty breaks 24,100 decisively, consider 24,100 PE / 24,000 PE, with a strict premium-based stop-loss.

The 1 September expiry chain shows substantial activity in the 24,100–24,300 strikes, making this a particularly important zone for intraday volatility.

My preference:
➡️ Wait for the breakout. Don’t buy options merely because the market opens higher/lower.

🏦 BANK NIFTY

Bank Nifty remains more vulnerable because of weakness in heavyweight banking stocks. HDFC Bank was among the notable drags on the market recently.

Key zones

Support: 57,000–57,300

Major support: 56,700

Resistance: 58,000

Strong resistance: 58,300–58,500

🎯 OPTION STRATEGY

Bullish only above 58,000:
➡️ Consider 58,000 CE after confirmation.

Bearish below 57,000:
➡️ Consider 57,000 PE, targeting approximately 56,700 → 56,400.

Between 57,000 and 58,000, I would avoid buying options because time decay can become the biggest enemy.

🟡 GOLD — SHORT-TERM BIAS: BEARISH / VOLATILE

Gold suffered a sharp correction on Friday. Spot gold fell more than 3% to around $4,567/oz, while renewed expectations of a US rate hike strengthened the dollar and pressured precious metals.

MCX Gold was around ₹1,58,410/10g on 28 August.

Monday outlook

₹1,58,000 is an important psychological zone.

Below ₹1,58,000 → ₹1,56,500–₹1,55,500

Recovery above ₹1,60,000 → ₹1,62,000+

Strategy: Don’t aggressively buy gold after the recent fall. Wait for stabilization.

⚪ SILVER — HIGH VOLATILITY

Silver also suffered a sharp international correction, falling around 3.5% to $66.81/oz on Friday.

However, the broader Indian-market trend remains structurally stronger than gold in recent weeks, with MCX silver having recovered significantly from its August lows.

Monday strategy

₹2.40 lakh/kg: important support

₹2.45–2.48 lakh: recovery zone

Sustained break above ₹2.48 lakh → bullish continuation possible

Break below ₹2.40 lakh → ₹2.35–2.37 lakh possible

My preference: Silver is attractive only after confirmation of support, rather than trying to catch the falling knife.

🔥 NGTV ENGLISH — TOMORROW’S TRADE MATRIX

Instrument Bias Trigger Preferred Trade

NIFTY 50 ⚠️ Neutral/Bearish Above 24,300 24,200 CE
NIFTY 50 🔴 Bearish Below 24,100 24,100/24,000 PE
BANK NIFTY 🟢 Bullish Above 58,000 58,000 CE
BANK NIFTY 🔴 Bearish Below 57,000 57,000 PE
GOLD 🔴 Corrective Below ₹1.58L Sell-on-rise bias
SILVER ⚠️ Volatile Above ₹2.48L Bullish confirmation

⭐ NGTV VERDICT

Do not chase the opening candle tomorrow. The better setup is to let the first 15–30 minutes establish direction, then trade the breakout/breakdown.

Highest-conviction framework:
NIFTY above 24,300 = CE bias.
NIFTY below 24,100 = PE bias.
BANK NIFTY above 58,000 = CE.
BANK NIFTY below 57,000 = PE.

The market is currently carrying enough macro and derivatives-related uncertainty that capital preservation should take priority over forcing a trade.
