Ingredients
Dark or milk chocolate – 200 g, chopped
Condensed milk – 200 g
Butter – 30 g
Cocoa powder – 2 tbsp
Vanilla essence – 1 tsp
Chopped almonds – 2 tbsp
Chopped pistachios – 2 tbsp
Chopped cashews – 2 tbsp
Salt – a pinch
Festive sprinkles or edible silver/gold decorations – for garnish
How to Make It
Step 1: Prepare the tray
Line a small square tray with butter paper, leaving some paper over the edges for easy removal later.
Step 2: Melt the chocolate
Place a heavy-bottomed pan over low heat. Add butter and chopped chocolate. Stir continuously until the chocolate melts into a smooth mixture. Do not use high heat.
Step 3: Create the fudge mixture
Add condensed milk, cocoa powder and a pinch of salt. Cook over low heat for 3–5 minutes, stirring constantly. The mixture should become thick, glossy and smooth.
Step 4: Add the nuts
Take the pan off the heat. Add vanilla essence, almonds, pistachios and cashews. Mix well to distribute the nuts evenly.
Step 5: Set the fudge
Transfer the mixture to the prepared tray and spread it evenly with a spatula. Decorate the surface with festive sprinkles or edible decorations.
Step 6: Chill and cut
Refrigerate for 2–3 hours, or until firm. Lift the fudge using the butter paper and cut it into squares or diamonds.
